SCROLL is an acronym of “Student ComicRhapsodies On Life and Living”. It portrays students’ everyday shenanigans during their studies in the tertiary years. This comic is a collaborative initiative project between Multimedia University lecturers and the Comination Club MMU. SCROLL provides a platform for students who specialise in digital art, cartoons, comics and narratives in order to hone and polish their artworks to the readers; via comic books and digital media. Through SCROLL project, artworks produced by these students have been recognised as they were given the chance to represent the young generation of artists by exhibiting their work at the “Pameran Kartun dan Kita” (Cartoon and Us Exhibition) at the National Museum on December 8th 2017 to April 15th 2018; “Pameran Kartun” (Cartoons Exhibition) at the State Museum of Terengganu on July 1st 2018 to December 2018, alongside Malaysian well known comic artists. The students also had the opportunity to participate in the DropX Digital Illustration Exhibition at Oasis Square, Mutiara Damansara from October 6th to 7th 2018. This project had also garnered a Silver Medal under commercial category from Research Innovative Creation Exhibition Showcase (RICES) which took place at Multimedia University on November 15th 2018.
