The anthology is based on a long and quiet contemplation of nature and its surroundings that arouses the sensitivity of an individual. The first part of this Anthology - “Land of The Fireflies” - is drawn from the natural scenery seen by the poet from his window every morning that is constantly changing, despite the environment remaining the same.
The section “The Deepest Desolation” displays a myriad of tones in matters that the poet finds disturbing. Most of the poems in this section were inspired by travels, trips, visits and self-portrait.
An anthology that adds a glint of colour and meaning to Malaysian poetry.
